The Problem:
Drugs, violence and sexual promiscuity in our schools and community
Explicit violence in movies, games and music, endangering our kids
Unhealthy examples of morals and character presented today
The Solution:
Fun-filled, Bible-based character education with other children
Learning unchanging truths from the Bible and how to live by them
Bring your kids to Awana Clubs
Who: Awana Clubs are for boys and girls age 3 through grade 6.
What: Awana is an exciting kids’ club that builds character from the Bible. Each Wednesday, kids from preschool to 6th grade memorize Bible verses, play active group games, engage in fun crafts and songs, and hear a Bible story. Clubbers earn awards and Awana bucks; the Awana bucks can be spent at the monthly Awana store!
Why: Christ’s teachings are unparalleled in building character qualities that our children need so desperately and which our society has so readily abandoned.
When: Cubbies, Sparks, and Truth & Training: Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8:15 PM, September 7, 2011 through May 30, 2012. Please arrive at 6:20 PM for check-in.
Where: At Martha Lake Covenant Church, 2721 164th Street SW, Lynnwood, WA 98087-7809, at the corner where Alderwood Mall Parkway and Manor Way intersect with 164th Street SW. Map
Martha Lake Covenant Church has been hosting Awana clubs since 1985.
Awana workers are talented and motivated.
Your kids will have fun learning Bible principles, Scripture, and how we can live more fulfilling lives.
Try it FREE for 2 weeks! Your child will receive an introductory booklet, which takes a few weeks to complete.
After completing the introductory booklet, your child will need to buy:
Club uniform (see below).
Handbook for Cubbies, Sparks and T&T are $8.
Club dues are $25 per year or $1 each club night. Discounts on dues available.
